Phenomenology of Neutrino Masses

Speaker: Federico Sanchez (IFAE)
Mon 12 April, 12:00 -  IFAE seminar room

Neutrinos were thought to be massless for many decades. The discovery of neutrino oscillations at the end of the nineties proved the contrary. Since then, many experiments have been trying to understand these phenomena.
The non-zero mass also reactivated fields of research like the search for Majorana masses. The phenomenology of neutrino masses is rich, including oscillations, CP violation, matter effects, Majorana masses, etc. We will summarize them, reviewing old and present generation of experiments... from natural sources to artificial ones.
