The Institut de Fisica d'Altes Energies (IFAE, see www.ifae.es) is looking for an experienced micro-systems packaging technician. IFAE has state-of-the-art infrastructure and hardware dedicated to the fabrication of hybrid pixel detectors for applied physics and fundamental research. The selected candidate will be responsible for assorted assignments related to the operation, programming, and maintenance of some, or all, of the following equipment: F&K Delvotec G5 wire-bonder, Pactech SB2-SM Solder Ball deposition, and Süss-Microtech FC-150 flip-chip machine.

I will discuss the phenomenon of emergent Lorentz invariance in strongly coupled theories. Lorentz Invariance is imprinted by the renormalization group flow in most observables, such as the dispersion relations of composite particles at low energies.
