It foresees a factor of 10 improvement in sensitivity and an extension of the accessible energy range from a few tens of GeV up to 100 TeV. Monday, February 15th, 12:00 - IFAE Seminar Room 1998 marks the start of the applied research line in IFAE with the intention to work on dosimetry detectors. Soon after the research got focused on digital imaging for medical applications such as Mammography, Bone radiology, Biopsy, and later on Nuclear medicine (Positron-Emission-Tomography,PET).
