Seminar: Emergent Lorentz Invariance from Strong Dynamics

I will discuss the phenomenon of emergent Lorentz invariance in strongly coupled theories. Lorentz Invariance is imprinted by the renormalization group flow in most observables, such as the dispersion relations of composite particles at low energies.

Seminar: A possible new phase in gauge-fixed Yang-Mills theory

The standard expectation is that gauge fixing cannot alter the physics in the physical sector of a Yang-Mills theory. In this talk, I argue that this may not be true: in an SU(2) Yang-Mills theory in which the SU(2)/U(1) coset is gauge fixed, we find that a new phase, with spontaneous symmetry breaking, appears to be a possibility.

up to the O(p4) level are derived with the help of axiomatic principles, such as analyticity, crossing

Seminar: Implementation of RChL results at low energy MC generators for tau decays and e+e- annihilation

Using the Resonance Chiral Lagrangian (RChL) we describe the hadronization in various processes, like electron-positron annihilation into pions with additional photon radiation, electron-positron scattering with production of pseudoscalars (pion or eta meson) and tau decays into hadrons.
