LHC tests of the Tevatron t tbar asymmetry

The forward-backward asymmetry measured by CDF may be a hint of physics beyond the Standard Model. Models accommodating this asymmetry will undergo stringent tests from t tbar production at LHC, especially the measurement of the high-mass tail and the charge asymmetry.

The former, for example, may soon rule out explanations involving a Z' or W' boson exchanged in the t channel. The latter can be used to discriminate models, if a value beyond the SM prediction is found.
