Natural SUSY endures

Tuesday January 17, 14:30hs - Seminar room

Speaker: Michele Papucci (LBL Berkeley)

The first 1/fb of LHC data set impressive limits on new colored particles decaying to missing energy. I will present the implication of these searches for naturalness in supersymmetry (SUSY).

The expectation of having higgsinos, stops and the gluino not too far above the weak scale starts to be probed by the LHC data but generically is still not strongly constrained. I will review which of the current LHC searches are most powerful for probing the natural region of the weak-scale SUSY parameter space and briefly comment about the future prospects for 2012.
