Open Position Theoretical Physics: Standard Model Physics and Flavour Physics (in and beyond the SM)

Job description:

The research team in Standard Model Physics and Flavour Physics (in and beyond the SM) of the Theory Division at the High Energy Physics Institute in Barcelona (IFAE-Barcelona) announces the opening of 2 postdoctoral position to work on the following lines of research: rare B decays and flavour anomalies, phenomenology of strong interactions using EFTs and QCD, anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, renormalons and heavy quarkonium.

This position is funded by IFAE aiming at hiring excellent researchers -of any nationality- to conduct a research project in collaboration with the members of the research team: Rafel Escribano, Pere Masjuan, Joaquim Matias, Santiago Peris and Antonio Pineda.

The offer consists of a 2-year contract with competitive salary commensurate with the successful candidate experience, plus public health and unemployment insurances.

Eligible candidates should hold a PhD degree in Physics by the beginning of the contract (preferably not later than August 2022).
