- IFAE Mentorship Program
IFAE program to provide mentoring to postdoctoral researchers and PhD student, current and future. The program pairs each postdoc with a staff member at IFAE and each PhD student with a postdoc. It aims to provide support and guidance along the the stay at IFAE, particularly including advise on future career steps.
Get in contact with the program coordinators (Gerard Ariño & Diego Blas for postdoc-staff pairs and Monica Seglar-Arroyo for PhD-postdocs pairs) if you wish to participate.
This program is complemented with the BIST Mentoring Programme , an eight-month initiative with professional training.
- Psychological Support Program: WellBIST
IFAE provides researchers and supporting staff with training and tools to help them develop their professional careers with better mental health. - To the Mothers of Science: Supporting grant
BIST recognises and supports scientist mothers working to reach a leading position and advance the research in their fields. The Supporting grant for BIST scientits To the Mothers of Science was first launched in 2018.

#100tífiques is an initiative of the BIST Research Centres and the FCRI, with the collaboration of the Departament d’Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya. The project includes two major events or activities on February 11, the International Day of Women and Girls in Science:
- Simultaneous talks of our #100tífiques in schools throughout Catalonia (6th grade primary and 1st ESO students).
- #100tífiques Meet-up
IFAE organizes Masterclasses at IFAE for young students to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
