The IFAE group is significantly involved in the upgrade project of the near detector (ND280) of T2K. The IFAE PI is technical project manager of this international project which collaborators from Japan, Russia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Poland and CERN. Neutrinos Group

For more than a decade, IFAE has been contributing to several key experiments in the field of neutrino physics, such as K2K and T2K. The neutrino physics group at IFAE studies the neutrino sector of the Standard Model, with the ultimate goal to understand the fundamental phenomena that have produced the observed asymmetry between matter and antimatter in the universe.
