To the Mothers of Science 2020 grant winners

The programme offers supporting grants and coaching sessions to talented BIST female researchers to recognise their roles as scientists and mothers, and to support them along their way to attaining positions of greater responsibility. This year’s winners come from all seven BIST centres. Malgorzata Siudek, Postdoctoral Researcher at IFAE, obtained one of the grants.

IFAE will bring fundamental physics closer to the public at CosmoCaixa during the European Researchers’ Night 2026, with activities developed within the European Project PICO New Horizons, including an interactive cosmology workshop for families and a live jazz and physics performance.

Throughout June and July, IFAE welcomed around 100 secondary-school and university students through a series of educational and research programmes designed to bring young people closer to fundamental physics and scientific research.
