Gravitational Waves GroupTwo new papers have been published by the group
“A gravitational-wave measurement of the Hubble constant following the second observing run of Advanced LIGO and Virgo” . Thanks to the relevant contributions by C. Karathanasis (PhD student from IFAE), he has been invited as author of this flagship paper from O2 submitted to Submitted to ApJ.
“Determination of the light exposure on the photodiodes of a new instrumented baffle for the Virgo input mode cleaner end-mirror” . Submitted to CQG Journal.

Spain strengthens its participation in major gravitational-wave infrastructures

The Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities has allocated new funding to Spain’s participation in major international gravitational-wave infrastructures, with the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) designated as the institution through which these contributions will be channelled.
