Evangelos Sfakianakis has joined the Theory Division as a postdoctoral researcher with a ‘La Caixa’ Junior Leader Fellowship. Evangelos got his PhD from MIT and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Nikhef and Leiden University. His research focuses on early universe cosmology: cosmic inflation, its foundations, dynamics and observational consequences. Overall, he is interested in what the early universe can teach us about particle physics.
