New IFAE Members
New Members in the ATLAS group

Collider Physics GroupShalini Epari and Nazlim Agaras have just joined the ATLAS Group.
Shalini is a new PhD student with a La Caixa INPhINIT Fellowship. She completed a BS-MS Dual Degree in Physics at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in Kolkata, India.
Nazlim Agaras is a new postdoc in the group. She graduated and obtained her master in Physics at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. She did her PhD in ATLAS at Clermort Auvergne University in Clemort Ferrand, France.
Both of them will work in the maintenance and operation of the TileCal calorimeter and searches for new physics in multilepton final states using Run 2 and Run 3 ATLAS data.

First Pre-production Modules for the ATLAS upgrades for the LH-LHC Assembled at IFAE

The first pre-production triplet module for the ATLAS upgrades for the LH-LHC has been assembled this week at IFAE. The IFAE ATLAS Pixels group is building modules for the innermost pixel layer of the tracking detector (ITk) and the new high granularity timing detector (HGTD).
