“Search for charged Higgs bosons decaying into a top quark and a bottom quark at sqrt(s)=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector using the full Run 2 luminosity” has been submitted to JHEP this week.

Search for charged Higgs bosons decaying into a top quark and a bottom quark at sqrt(s)=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector using the full Run 2 luminosity ” has been submitted to JHEP this week.

This paper presents the first analysis using the complete Run 2 data searching for charged Higgs bosons in ATLAS. No signal has been found and stringent limits on the production cross-section times branching ratio are extracted. Compared to the previous analysis using data only from 2015 and 2016, a larger tan(beta) vs m(H+) parameter space is excluded for various state-of-the-art MSSM scenarios.

This analysis has been performed entirely by the IFAE ATLAS team with Martine Bosman, Lluisa Mir, Imma Riu and Adrian Salvador. Lluisa Mir and Imma Riu are corresponding editors of the paper.
