Theory DivisionGeorge Zahariade has joined the Theory Group. His research interests lie at the interface of general relativity and quantum field theory.
George Zahariade has joined the Theory Group. He defended his PhD in Paris in 2013 and then went on to do a postdoc at the University of California Davis followed by another one at Arizona State University.
His research interests lie at the interface of general relativity and quantum field theory. Recently has has been working on the formation and quantum evaporation of topological defects, as well as on potential signatures of the quantization of gravity at gravitational wave detectors.
Welcome, George!
