New ATLAS Pixels Group Publication

The Paper “Novel 3D Pixel Sensors for the Upgrade of the ATLAS Inner Tracker” has been published in Frontiers for Physics.

The paper reviews the main design and technological issues of the 3D pixel sensors developed for the upgrade of the ATLAS inner tracker, and presents a study of the sensor performance before and after exposure to large radiation doses. The article includes results of the work performed by the pixel group at IFAE for characterization of the 3D silicon pixel sensors produced at CNM.
