Sebastian Grinstein endorsed as deputy Project Leader of the ATLAS HGTD

Collider Physics GroupSebastian Grinstein has been endorsed as deputy Project Leader of the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) of ATLAS by the Institute Board.
The High Granularity Timing Detector is based on 6.5m2 of silicon LGAD sensors designed to reject pile-up during the HL-LHC era.
IFAE will contribute with hybridization and module assembly, while CNM will deliver sensors. The production of modules is foreseen for 2023-2025.
