IFAE participated in the 2021 BIST Conference on Quantum Technologies . The main event of took place on Wednesday 3, November 2021. And satellite sessions were organized during the week.

Pol Forn-Díaz participated in the Quantum Computing section of the Quantum in Catalonia panel. The QCT group and lab featured in the video shown in the session.

Mario Martínez participated in the Quantum Sensing section of the Quantum in Catalonia panel. The accompanying video featured the work done for Virgo in the IFAE labs.

Pablo Sánchez participated in the “Satellite session: Presenting the research breakthroughs of the next generation of scientific leaders” giving the talk “Unveiling the pion radii”.

Tamara Vázquez Schröder participates in the launch of 'científiques 2026'

Tamara Vázquez Schröder, researcher in the Collider Physics Group at the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE), took part in the launch event of the 2026 edition of the #científiques programme, held on 27 January 2026 at the UAB Casa Convalescència in Barcelona. The event marked the start of this year’s activities ahead of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, celebrated on 11 February.

Tamara Vázquez Schröder Featured in the #científiques 2026 Campaign

The #científiques initiative — a joint programme of the Fundació Catalana per a la Recerca i la Innovació (FCRI) and the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST) — has released the image for its 2026 edition, featuring Tamara Vázquez Schröder, researcher at IFAE, as the scientist highlighted in this year’s campaign.
