The DESI website is now translated to Catalan

All the detailed explanations both about the scientific objectives and about the instrumentation and the telescope can now be found in catalan . Marc Manera has led this effort.

The DESI collaboration values cultural and linguistic diversity, which is why its website has been translated into ten languages. As of this week, it already includes Catalan.

On the website you can find in Catalan all the detailed explanations both about the scientific objectives (and the methods to achieve them) and about the instrumentation and the telescope.

Free courses for high school and college students have also begun to be translated, explaining the scientific concepts and methods of this experiment, using some real data.
