Giulio Lucchetta has just started as a new postdoc of the Gamma-ray Group.

Giulio obtained his Bachelor and Master degree in Physics at the University of Padova. He recently completed his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. David Berge and Dr. Markus Ackermann on a small project called MeVCube, about the design and development of prototype detectors for a Compton telescope based on the CubeSat standard.

Giulio will be involved in the construction of the future HERD cosmic ray detector onboard the Chinese Space Station.

Welcome, Giulio!
