First field cage for the T2K TPC arrives at CERN

The first field cage of the time projections chambers that will be installed in the near detector of T2K have arrived at CERN.

The field cage has been produced by Nexus Projectes SL (Matorell).

In the next weeks the first TPC half will be assembled and tested before the next 3 field cages will be produced by Nexus.
