ATLAS Upgrades Status

Collider Physics Group

The Final Design Reviews for the LGAD sensors for the High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) and for the ITk Pixel modules are ongoing.

These reviews are needed before the launch of the pre-production of LGAD sensors at CNM and the ITk triplet module assembly is started at IFAE.

If the ITk pixel module review is passed it is expected that the final module assembly will start next year.
