Ongoing HGTD Testbeam Campaign Pioneers ALTIROC3 Module Prototypes in ATLAS Detector Upgrade

The High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) testbeam campaign is currently underway at the electron beam line in DESY, Hamburg, representing a significant step in the ATLAS detector’s HGTD upgrade.
This campaign involves testing the new ALTIROC3 module prototypes, which utilize LGAD sensors, and Joaquim Piñol from IFAE is contributing expertise to the data acquisition (DAQ) system developed at IFAE for this purpose.
