October 18, 2023

Neutrinos Group

The T2K ND280 Upgrade project achieved a significant milestone as the first of the new Time Projection Chambers (TPCs) recorded cosmic tracks inside the ND280 pit.

Additionally, the installation of the SuperFGD scintillator tracker and two more panels of the Time of Flight (TOF) system marks progress toward the first neutrino beam with the updated ND280 configuration, expected in November/December 2023.
