Theory DivisionBernat Capdevila has joined the Theory Group at IFAE and the UAB Physics Department as Postdoc Researcher.
Bernat got his PhD at IFAE with the supervision of Quim Matias. He has been a postdoc researcher at Università Degli Studi di Torino (University of Turin) & INFN and at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) of the University of Cambridge with a Margarita Salas fellowship.

The study “First Search for Ultraheavy Dark Matter Using a Magnetically Levitated Particle” , co-authored by IFAE researcher Dorian Amaral and collaborators, explores a new experimental approach to probing interactions of ultraheavy dark matter. The work has been reported on Phys.org
