Qilimanjaro wins 4YFN Awards 2024

Quantum Computing Technologies GroupThe IFAE spin-off Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, was recognized at the Mobile World Congress Barcelona 2024 as the best digital start-up in the world.
The company was chosen as the winner of the 4YFN Awards, a global start-up competition aimed at finding the best emerging companies from around the planet that represents the highest recognition offered to start-ups at the MWC.
Qilimanjaro has been elected “best startup” of the University of Barcelona (2021), the “best deeptech startup” at “Deeptech Barcelona” (2022), one of the ten selected European deeptech startups by Intel (2023) and now the “best startup” of the international MWC 4YFN24 (2024).

Qilimanjaro contributes to new quantum computing milestone at BSC

Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, the spin-off of IFAE, BSC and UB has contributed to the deployment at BSC of a system constituted by a new 35-qubit quantum computer, along with another 20-qubit quantum computer for uninterrupted operation, with Manel Martínez acting as Project Leader within the Qilimanjaro-GMV consortium.
