On Thursday 12 September, Tamara Vázquez was invited to take part of the round table entitled “Desvelando las leyes fundamentales de la naturaleza en el CERN: pasado, presente y futuro” in the Salón de Actos of CSIC in Madrid. The round table was part of the event that celebrates the 70th anniversary of CERN in Spain, held prior to the official commemoration on October 1 at CERN.

It was organized by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Center for Energy, Environmental, and Technological Research (CIEMAT), the National Center for Particle, Astroparticle, and Nuclear Physics (CPAN), the State Research Agency (AEI), the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI), and the Foundation for Science and Technology.

Tamara has been working in the ATLAS Collaboration for more than a decade, and recently joined the ATLAS group at IFAE as tenure-track Ramon y Cajal Researcher.
