On October 1st an official high-level ceremony at CERN welcomed political leaders from Member and Associate Member States, as well as from Observers, as part of the CERN 70th anniversary celebration.

Tamara Vázquez Schröder from IFAE was invited to be the junior liaison officer to accompany the EU delegation, headed by President von der Leyen.
