Fiber Tracker for HERD Detector Undergoes Testing at CERN

Gamma-ray Group

The Fiber Tracker for the HERD space cosmic-ray/gamma-ray detector is being tested this week with high-energy ions at the CERN SPS.

The IFAE Gamma-ray group contributes the trigger and readout electronics. Giulio Lucchetta, Keerthana Lathika and Juan Boix are at CERN to ensure a successful data taking campaign.
