Theory Division

Héctor Cancio has joined the Theory group as a PhD student.

Héctor Cancio graduated in Mathematics (UB) and later completed a master’s degree in High-Energy Physics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology (UAB, IFAE). His master’s thesis was on holographic models of QCD and applications to the muon g-2, sparking a deep interest in theoretical physics. Now as a beginning PhD student under the supervision of Pere Masjuan, is dedicated to research in hadronic physics, effective field theories, and holographic models of QCD, aiming to contribute to the understanding of fundamental physics.

Welcome Héctor!
