Theory DivisionXue Xiao has joined the Theory group as a postdoctoral researcher
Xiao Xue obtained her Ph.D degree in China and spent 3 years in Hamburg University and DESY as a postdoc. Her research focuses mainly on gravitational waves and astrophysics, and she also wants to see dark matter, axion and dark photon in different astrophysical systems.

The study “First Search for Ultraheavy Dark Matter Using a Magnetically Levitated Particle” , co-authored by IFAE researcher Dorian Amaral and collaborators, explores a new experimental approach to probing interactions of ultraheavy dark matter. The work has been reported on Phys.org
