New member in the Quantum Computing group

Ariadna Gómez has joined the QCT group as a PhD student

Ariadna Gómez del Pulgar did a double bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics and a master’s degree in Quantum Science and Technologies, at the Universitat de Barcelona. She has been working at the QCT group at IFAE for many years, first as an IFAE Summer Fellow, later to undertake her barchelor’s thesis and ultimately to conduct her master’s thesis. She recently started her PhD in the same group, during which she will be studying the effects of ionizing cosmic radiation on superconducting qubits and their mitigation in order to design, fabricate and use an ultrasensitive device for dark matter and gravitational waves detection.

Welcome Ariadna!
