Sergio Rodríguez Rocha completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of La Laguna, Canary Islands. He worked at GRANTECAN for the past two years as a mechanical maintenance engineer. He was responsible for the dome rotation system and also carried out a project to renew the entire electrical system of the emergency generator and the connection with the external power supply.
