Elisabetta Medina earned a PhD from the University of Turin, focusing on solid-state sensors as beam monitors for FLASH radiotherapy and other harsh environment applications. She has joined the Medical Physics group at IFAE, contributing to two projects: CHLOE-PET, which aims to develop a novel detector module for TOF-PET systems, and SOFTPIX, dedicated to the development of pixel detectors for soft X-ray detection and imaging.
