“Cosmic muon flux attenuation methods for superconducting qubit experiments” by Elia Bertoldo, Manel Martínez, Pol Forn and collaborators

The QCT group has published a new research paper in the New Journal of Physics:

“Cosmic muon flux attenuation methods for superconducting qubit experiments” by Elia Bertoldo, Manel Martínez, Pol Forn, and collaborators from the Universitat de Saragossa and the Université d’Orsay a París.

This is the first publication from the group’s research line on the interaction between ionizing radiation and qubits.

New Dilution Refrigerator Installed at the QCT Lab

The Quantum Computing Technologies Lab at IFAE has just received its new dilution refrigerator from Leiden Cryogenics. The unit, customized with IFAE’s colors, is currently cooling down and is expected to reach 10 mK (0.01 K above absolute zero) tomorrow.
