At the 110th ATLAS Collaboration Board meeting, held on 21 February 2025, Aurelio Juste was elected as the next Deputy Physics Coordinator of the ATLAS experiment for one year, starting on 1 October 2025, and becoming the Physics Coordinator for the following year, starting 1 October 2026.

This is one of the highest-profile positions in the ATLAS experiment.
