CEPC 2025 International Workshop takes place in Barcelona

Observational Cosmology GroupThe 2025 European Edition of the International Workshop on the Circular Electron-Positron Collider (CEPC) is currently underway in Barcelona, Spain, from June 16 to 19, hosted by IFAE.
The event is being held at the UPF School of Management and brings together researchers from across Europe and China to discuss the latest progress in future electron-positron colliders.
Over four days, participants are discussing the status of the CEPC project, as well as the FCC and other similar endeavours in high-energy physics.
Eugenio Coccia and Andreu Mas-Colell gave the welcome addresses.
New ICREA position
Andreu Font-Ribera appointed ICREA Professor at IFAE

Andreu Font-Ribera has been appointed ICREA Research Professor at the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE), reinforcing the institute’s leadership. With this appointment, IFAE now hosts eight ICREA professors.
