The paper “Combined dark matter search towards dwarf spheroidal galaxies with Fermi-LAT, HAWC, H.E.S.S., MAGIC, and VERITAS” has been accepted for publication at the Journal of Cosmology and Astro-particle Physics.
D. Kerszberg and J. Rico are corresponding authors of this paper.
The paper presents the results of a combined search carried out by the most sensitive gamma-ray telescopes currently in operation: the satellite-borne Fermi-LAT instrument, the ground-based imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescope arrays H.E.S.S., MAGIC, and VERITAS, and the HAWC water Cherenkov detector. These results represent a legacy of an entire generation of gamma-ray instruments in the search for WIMP dark matter towards dwarf spheroidal galaxies, and provides a proof of concept for future multi-instrument and multi-messenger combination studies.
