New member in the Theory group
September 18, 2025
Theory DivisionTomas Kvietkauskas has joined the Theory group as PhD student.
Tomas Kvietkauskas comes from Lithuania. He studied an integrated Master’s degree in Mathematics and Physics at the University of Manchester, with his thesis on indirect astrophysical detection methods for high-frequency gravitational waves. At the IFAE, he will be doing his PhD in the Theory group with Diego Blas as supervisor, focusing on the design and science prospects of current and future high-frequency gravitational wave detectors with quantum sensing, in the context of the GravNet ERC project.
Welcome Tomas!
