Pablo Jimenez and Suprio Dubey joined the ATLAS group at IFAE

P.Jimenez

Pablo Jiménez studied Physics at the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid, his hometown. He then spent two years in Tenerife, where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Astrophysics from the Universidad de La Laguna. He has recently joined the Astronomy Detector Group at IFAE, where he will be working on new infrared detectors as a PhD student.

S.Dubey

Suprio Dubey completed his Master’s degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of Padua, Italy, where his thesis focused on machine learning applications in cosmology. At IFAE, he will work under the supervision of Prof. Marc Manera and Prof. Cristobal Padilla. He will join the Euclid Collaboration to address systematic errors in Euclid’s weak lensing surveys that can affect cosmological parameter estimation, with a particular focus on photo-z calibration and intrinsic alignments. Additionally, he will work on machine learning applications for Euclid data analysis.

Welcome Pablo and Suprio!
