New member in the Observational Cosmology group

Fernando Abarzuza is joining the Space Missions and Detectors group within the Observational Cosmology group as a PhD

Fernando Abárzuza is a PhD student who has recently joined the detector characterization team within the observational cosmology group at IFAE. Originally trained as an aerospace engineer, he later transitioned into astronomy. Before joining IFAE, he spent two years working on the commissioning of the Two-Meter Twin Telescope at the Teide Observatory and participated in Solar System research, focusing on asteroid taxonomy—particularly M-type asteroids. At IFAE, he will be working on the characterization of the infrared sensor for the Arrakihs mission.
