Stefan Stelzl joined the Theory group at IFAE as a postdoctoral researcher

Stefan Stelzl obtained his PhD in Physics from TUM in Munich, where he was supervised by Andreas Weiler. His doctoral work focused on the interplay of light particles with high-density environments such as neutron stars, as well as on solutions to the electroweak hierarchy problem.

After completing his PhD, he joined EPFL in Lausanne as a postdoctoral researcher, working with Riccardo Rattazzi.

His research interests include the hierarchy problem, the strong CP problem, tetraquarks, baryogenesis, and cosmology.

At IFAE he is joining Diego Blas’ group.

Welcome Stefan!
