The new CosmoHub frontend is now live, offering a modernized interface and major improvements to data visualization, including enhanced plotting tools, HEALPix map support, and array-based data plotting. The release also debuts a new Workbench section and several additional enhancements.

The update has been led by Alex Luelmo and Pau Tallada, with contributions from the entire CosmoHub team. Users are invited to explore the new features, take advantage of the extensive datasets available, and share feedback to help further refine the platform.

Closing event of the IN-CAEM project

On 26 November, the ALBA Synchrotron hosted the event marking the completion of the IN-CAEM project and the presentation of its new advanced facilities for the study of materials relevant to the energy transition. Gonzalo Merino attended on behalf of PIC.

New Instrumentation
New Wide-Field Telescope Installed at Montsec Observatory with PIC Participation

A new wide-field telescope (TRAC) has been installed at Montsec Observatory to enhance asteroid tracking, deep-sky imaging, and space technology research. Coordinated by the IEEC and with the involvement of PIC, the project is set to begin scientific operations in 2026.
