Font-Ribera leads IFAE’s Observational Cosmology Group and is an international expert in the analysis of large galaxy surveys to study the expansion history of the Universe and the nature of dark energy. His work plays a key role in the major international collaborations DESI. He is also the Principal Investigator of an ERC Consolidator Grant awarded by the European Research Council, supporting frontier research in observational cosmology.
