The Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) has published its 2025 Annual Report, presenting the institute’s main scientific achievements, technological developments and institutional activities throughout the year.

The report highlights IFAE’s contributions to fundamental physics, from particle physics and cosmology to gravitational waves and gamma-ray astronomy, as well as advances in quantum technologies and scientific instrumentation.

Among the highlights of 2025 are new results from the DESI collaboration on the nature of dark energy, important developments in the ATLAS experiment at CERN, and progress in gravitational-wave research and quantum technologies. The report also reflects IFAE’s scientific output, with more than 370 publications in indexed journals during the year.

The Annual Report is available in two complementary formats: an interactive web version, featuring scientific highlights and detailed information on the institute’s activities, and a 24-page PDF summary, offering an accessible overview of IFAE’s research areas and capabilities.
