Outreach talk about the latest DESI results

Sindhu Satyavolu and Laura Casas delivered the seminar “Probing Cosmic Acceleration with DESI: Is Dark Energy Evolving?” at the Sala de Graus II (UAB), in a hybrid format. The speakers presented the latest results from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) and introduced key cosmological concepts to ensure accessibility for a non-specialist audience.

New cosmological analysis explores potential tensions with the standard model of the Universe

Researchers from the Institut de Física d’Altes Energies (IFAE) have participated in a new international study that examines the consistency of the current standard model of cosmology using high-precision observational data. The results are presented in the paper Dark Energy Survey: implications for cosmological expansion models from the final DES Baryon Acoustic Oscillation and Supernova data .
