The ATLAS trigger workshop with the scope “Ready for Run 3 - Trigger strategy and commissioning in 2022” is taking place online this week. Several members of the IFAE ATLAS team are participating, chairing sessions or giving talks.

AHGTD Sensor Specification Review

The ATLAS High Granularity Timing Detector (HGTD) Sensor Specification Review took place on Nov 10th. This is the first step, of many, towards the sensor fabrication for HGTD. IFAE is interested in fabricating part of these sensors locally. S. Grinstein, as one of the HGTD sensor coordinators presented the specifications.
