Elia Bertoldo has just joined the QCT group as Postdoc.

“One qubit as a Universal Approximant” by members of the Quantic group has been uploaded to arXiv. This is the the first publication with experimental data taken at IFAE by the QCT group.

On January 31, 2020, the QCT group measured the first superconducting qubit in the new QCT Lab at IFAE.

A second refrigerator has been installed in the Quantum Computing Lab at IFAE. This refrigerator has been funded by Qilimanjaro.

Alba Torres and Luca Cozzolino has just joined the QCT group at IFAE as PhD students. Alba studied at UAB and UPC while Luca completed his studies at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.

Boris Nedyalkov has just joined the QCT Group as a PhD student.

The FET OPEN project launch took place virtually with a conference call between the 8 partner institutions on Wednesday October 14th, 2020.

Last week took place the equipment installation in the QCT lab, which includes a refrigerator (Bluefors), a compressor (Cryomech), and a water chiller, among others.
